Collection contains a one-page pamphlet distributed by the American National Red Cross in 1941. It provides instructions for knitting a "cap or beanie," with descriptions for two and four needle styles. The pamphlet lists materials needed for the project, and an image of a finished cap is printed on the back.

This collection includes photocopies of photographs from Veda Bateman’s service with the American Red Cross during World War II. Also included are two buttons, one from the Red Cross, and with the Nazi Eagle insignia.
